  4. This image depicts the linking of three seperate areas of production
  5. audio, film & video and how they have merged with the help of SGI
  6. workstations.  The electrode poles contain familiar images from the
  7. worlds TV & film linked by a lightning bolt that is an actual digital
  8. audio waveshape.  The ray traced jars took 28 hours to render at 4k
  9. resolution and the entire image was retouched using Alias Full Color
  10. Published with SGI workstations.  Now illustration can take many
  11. forms utilizing physical properties such as defraction and
  12. incorporate these techniques in an integrated artistic environment.
